Crash Course Village ("CCV," "we," "us") operates the CCV Student Portal at www.ccvportal.org to manage enrollment, attendance, documents, and communications for our fire and EMS training courses. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

We collect information you provide when you register for a course or use the portal, including:

• Mobile phone number
• Department or company affiliation
• Emergency contact name, phone, and relationship
• T-shirt size
• Course enrollment, attendance/check-in records, and signed waivers or documents

How we use your information

We use this information to administer your courses — including managing enrollment and attendance, delivering course materials and waivers, issuing completion certificates, supporting on-site safety and emergency response, and communicating with you about your courses by email and, if you opt in, text message.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number, you may receive course-related text messages (see our SMS Terms). You can opt out any time by replying STOP.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our messaging provider, is permitted solely to deliver the service. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is not shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the portal (for example, our email provider and our text-messaging provider), and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law. These providers are bound to protect your information.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our training services and maintain our records, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. To update or request deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.
